How was traveling for a year? Did you meet interesting people? Do implusive things? Make new friends? I hope you stuck to your plan to travel. I'd love to see what Cambodia is like along with China and The Philippines. Maybe you even saved up enough to go to Japan and help in some relief efforts. Though there is one thing I want to make sure you still remember. Helen S. Mayberg. Remember to check if the surgeries on Area 25 are still experimental or not. Because she really is onto something
about gettting rid of depression without medication.
I hope you've been holding you head up high and not letting life get you down. You're probably started college by now. Are you going to New Rochelle or Nazareth? Are you still going for Arts Therapy? I hope so. I hope you still have that drive to want to save the world. Though I hope you have changed. I hope you're less jumpy. Less irritable. Less Depressed. I hope you've still stayed in contact with the others. No matter how distance you feel from them you have to constantly remind yourself they are your friends. It's something I still do everyday. I hope you're happier. Not constantly thinnking about suicide or worrying about getting through the next five minutes. I hope you've found time to relax and be a little selfish. And most importantly you better have gotten that dream hair cut I'm saving up for. Cause I know if you did. It'll look kickass.
I guess the only advice I can really give you is hold you head up. Don't let others get you down and most importantly screw what everone else thinks. Do want you wanna do when you want to do it. Don't live up to others ecpectations. Live up to your own. I'm constantly telling myself that now so I'm hoping it's sunk in since the past two years. So remember you have a bucketlist of things to do and you better be adding more on there! I hope you've spoiled Baby Terrence like a good aunt would with plenty of hugs and kisses. Make sure you're around when he's older. Try to pass on the knowlegde you've learned and tell him he can talk to you anytime.
And most importantly love yourself unconditionally.
